Aiming at paving the way for transformational reforms in school and higher education system as per the CBSE guidelines, El Maestro Teaching Solutions is organizing a Free Webinar on “Special Assessment Scheme for Classes IX-XII” by Ms Aishwarya Taneja, HOD Economics, Bal Bharti Public School, Dwarka and a renowned CBSE Resource Person on Saturday, 18 September 2021 at 4 pm.
The resource person firstly commended all the teachers for their high spirit and continues efforts of imparting education even during the lockdown through online teaching. She further went on to give a vivid outlook of the specific assessment scheme issued by CBSE. She discussed a rationalized syllabus for term 1 and term 2. She also discussed bout the typology of questions covered while setting up the assessment paper (viz Case study, Assertion Reason Based Questions etc). Internal Assessment Evaluation pattern and steps to follow while uploading of marks was also discussed at length. Apart from this, steps to writing Learning Outcomes using Bloom’s Taxonomy were also discussed highlighting its importance for length. Effective technology-based teaching-learning strategies to be implemented were also discussed, thereby ensuring healthy teaching and learning process in all aspects.
The session was followed by an interactive question-answer round wherein resource person Ms Aishwarya Taneja ma’am answered the queries of the participants regarding internal assessment format, guidelines, maintaining the portfolio, setting up a balanced paper and lots more.
The Session was a roaring success wherein the doubts of the teachers were well addressed.
